How Hooferoo scoring works, and how to play.
How to play
1. Make your Premier League predictions. Before each match kicks off, predict the exact scoreline. Update it any time up to kickoff - once the match starts, it locks in.
2. Earn points. 4 points for the exact score, 1 point for the right result (home win, away win or draw) with the wrong score, 0 for getting it wrong.
3. Climb the leaderboard. Points accumulate across the season. Check the leaderboard any time to see where you and your mates stack up.
4. Start a table with your mates. A mini table only counts matches played after it was started, so everyone in it begins level however long they've been playing. Your Overall points carry on counting the whole season.
Scoring, in full
Exact score - 4 points.
Right result, wrong score - 1 point.
Wrong result - 0 points.
Predicted 2-1 to the home team? Get 2-1 and it's 4 points. Get any other home win - 3-0, 1-0 - and it's 1 point. Get a draw or an away win instead and it's 0.
The Hoofometer
Tap Hooferdoo on any fixture and you'll find the Hoofometer - a probability bar showing the chances of a home win, draw or away win, worked out from the bookmakers' odds with their margin stripped out. It's there to inform a prediction, not to make one for you - not a tip.
Below it you'll see each team's recent form - their last five results - so you can judge for yourself.
Common questions
How many points do you get for the exact score?
4 points - the most a single match can score you.
What if I get the right result but not the exact score?
Correctly calling a home win, away win or draw without the exact scoreline is worth 1 point.
Can you change a prediction after kickoff?
No. A prediction locks the moment its match kicks off - there's no editing it once it's underway.
What happens if you miss a game week?
You score nothing for it. No catch-up, no sympathy, no exceptions.
